I don’t mind the microwave popcorn the Boy Scouts push, but I do gotta say, they get a raw deal compared to the munchies the Girl Scouts get to hustle.
While the Thin Mints will still be king in the Geeky Household, the Girl Scouts snack quiver will be getting a fresh new arrow next week with the launch of their new salted caramel brownie-cookies: Adventurefuls!

Per the Girl Scouts of the USA: “Adventurefuls take cookie lovers on a delicious taste adventure just like Girl Scouts go on their own amazing adventures all year long. Girl Scouts across the United States will offer Adventureful cookies next cookie season alongside favorites like Thin Mints and Samoas/Caramel deLites.”
The new treat was announced last August and fortunately it looks like the Girl Scouts of America has been able to dodge the 2021 supply chain calamity. The new Adventurefuls are set to launch January 11th and be available through April 2022 (exact launch dates will very slightly based on region).

The cookies will be available online through the Girl Scouts digital cookie platform and even through 3rd party delivery services like Grubhub and DoorDash, but seriously, what is the fun in that?
The best part of their sales process that has lead to $800 million in annual cookie sales is seeing the cute kids setting up shop in front of the local grocery store (or *cough* medical dispensary *cough*) and ambushing you as you try to sneak past them on the way to your car.

Will you be giving the new Girl Scouts Adventurefuls a try?
