2 X-Men Cyclops Actors Have Passed Away In The Past 3 Months

Like many other 90’s kids, I loved spending my Saturday mornings watching X-Men: The Animated Series on FOX. The series was so popular that it spawned a multiple sequel series, including 2000’s X-men: Evolution.

Unfortunately the Cyclops voice actors from both series have passed away recently.

Norm Spencer, who voiced Cyclops on the X-men: The Animated Series which debuted in 1992 and ran for five seasons and 76 episodes, passed away August 31st, 2020 in his native Canada.

The news was confirmed by his friend Cal Dodd, who also voiced Wolverine on the series

Kirby Morrow, who voiced Cyclops on the X-Men Evolution series that debuted in 2000 and ran for 4 seasons and 52 episodes, passed away on November 18th 2020 at the age of 47. His passing was confirmed by his brother and cause of death has not been confirmed.

Geeky Daddy extends our condolences to the families and friends of these two talented voice actors.

And watch your step James Marsden!
