For clarity, She was not arrested for a DUI because technically she was driving a “toy” and not an “automobile.”
Is she crazy? Or a genius who found a drunk driving legal loop-hole? Will we soon see toy-sized parking lots at the bars?
The South Carolina woman was pulled over and arrested after local police spotted her cruising down the street in a silver Power Wheels truck.
If you thought you just read the words “Power Wheels”, that is because you just did.
25-year-old Megan Holman was pulled over Monday by Walhalla police officers after they received a call about a suspicious person, Chief Sean BrinsonΒ told local NBC affiliate WYFF-TV.

Holman told police that she was riding the Power Wheels truck as part of a scavenger hunt and that “she wanted to be a professional wrestler like her father and this was how to do it.”
Brinson said Holman was under the influence of a narcotic at the time, which came as a complete shock to absolutely no one.

However, where this story took a peculiar turn is not that the fact that this incident happened outside the mysterious state of Florida, but the fact that legally Holman cannot be charged with a DUI since she was not behind the wheel of a car. She was behind the wheel of a toy!
While she was still charged with public intoxication, the penalty for that crime isn’t anywhere near as severe as Driving Under the Influence would be.
So I pose the question to you, is Holman a genius for finding and exploiting a legal loop-hole?
Will we soon see toy-sized parking lots outside our favorite watering holes?
Only time will tell…
Surprisingly, unlike the woman who stole the motorized shopping cart to go on a Waffle House Run or the woman busted chugging wine out of a Pringles chip can, this story had absolutely nothing to do with Walmart!
“…which came as a complete shock to absolutely no one.” OMGoodness, laughing so much at how you delivered this line!
