In what can only be described as an amalgam of bad jokes, a Tennessee woman was arrested last Friday after she stole a motorized scooter from Walmart and drove it down the highway to the local Waffle House.
This arrest fell one element short of hitting the ‘white trash hat trick.’ While we do have a “Walmart” and a ‘Waffle House” involved, we are missing the third crucial element of “Florida’s panhandle.”
She was pulled over in the slow lane of Main Street in the city Crossville while on her way to Waffle House to “get some coffee.”
I have been scouring the internet for police dash cam footage of the incident but have so far been unsuccessful.
Earlier this year, we wrote about the South Carolina stud muffin who cooked his own meal at a Waffle House while the employees slept.
And in January we had the now famous incident of the Walmart customer drunk driving a motorized shopping cart while slamming wine out of a Pringles can. That is still my favorite of the year!
How long before someone in Florida gets pulled over for drunk driving one of these down a canal?
