I am assuming that somebody at the Haagen-Dazs corporate headquarters has finally started reading my “Suggestion Box” emails!
Either that or God is simply listening because we will soon be seeing 6 different flavors of alcohol-infused ice creams from Haagen-Dazs on the super market shelves!
Now before you get too excited, the alcohol content, may not be high enough to get you fully loaded at .5 percent by volume. But if you eat ice cream the way I do, that sounds more like a “Challenge” than a “Warning”
Seriously though, I’m sure the alcohol content was kept so low to allow purchase without being required to show I.D.
The flavors being launched include: Irish Cream Brownie, Rum Tres Leches, Bourbon Vanilla Bean Truffle, Stout Chocolate Pretzel Crunch, Bourbon Praline Pecan, and non-dairy Amaretto Black Cherry Almond Toffee.
All of the sudden those Hallmark Movie Channel marathons just got a whole lot more watchable!
They will also be launching Irish Cream Cookie Squares, which combine chocolate cookies and Irish Cream-infused ice cream, all covered in a swath of dark chocolate.
These highly anticipated (by me at least) flavors will be rolling out to grocery stores in early April, but if you are fortunate enough to live near a Haagen-Dazs store, they should be seeing these around March 1st.

Haha I don’t even like alcohol but these sound pretty good (which I guess is the point)! Though I can imagine, after a few spoonfuls, sickeningly sweet.

Wow! I love ice cream but I don’t know whether I’d directly mix it with alcohol lol! I think I will have to check it out though because Haagen Daz is my favorite brand of icecream so it would be rude not to!

Yes Yes and Yes!! I usually eat grooms cake ice cream for my Tuesday Night Ugly Cry fest (This is Us and New Amsterdam) but now this… this right here is perfect!!

Okay, all these flavors sound so delicious! I’m guessing I won’t see them in Norwegian stores any time soon, but I would love to try them!

At first I thought “great, can’t have these” cause I’m one of the unlucky ones that is allergic to alcohol. 😥 However, I can do 0.5%, YES! I’ll have to keep an eye out for those at the grocery store… although in Canada it could take longer for us to get them.

Actually, in Canada, it may have a higher alcohol content. I think the % of alcohol allowed to purchase without I.D. is higher. If the product becomes available to you, that is a good question.
