If you were wondering how awesome a Lego Millennium Falcon would be if it were nearly 3 feet in diameter, wonder no more!
Lego unveiled it’s new Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon and it is the largest kit in Lego’s history! Strategically interlocking 7,541 Lego pieces will be required to assemble this Corellian YT-1300f light freighter.
The detail of Han Solo’s famous ship is incredible and can be adapted to fit anywhere in the cinematic universe’s timeline thanks to an included Mynock creature (Empire Strikes Back) and several Pogs (upcoming The Last Jedi). The kit even includes both the original radar dish that the Millennium Falcon lost attacking the 2nd Death Star (Return of the Jedi) and the replacement dish seen in the current trilogy.
Figures included are Han Solo (Both young and old), Chewbacca, Leia, Finn, Rey, BB-8 & C3-PO.
The previous record holder for most Lego Parts was the Taj Mahal which measured in at a mere 5,922 pieces (and was completely incapable of completing the Kesel Run).
The Lego Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon has a release date of October 1st and will launch with an MSRP of $799.99
So I had been using a military style backpack as my “tactical diaper bag. It was very utilitarian and got the job done, but sometimes looked a bit to informal for many social environments. It was also very heavy and cumbersome for my wife to borrow.
I needed something that was still roomy enough to hold all Lil’ G-Man’s many accessories, had a sophisticated look and was hopefully not covered in pink polka-dots, My Little Pony’s or looked like it had a 12 round war with a Be-dazzler.
Unfortunately, a previous back injury rules out the popular messenger style bags from my list of options.
The Storksak backpack is made with a waterproof, durable and easy to clean, yet light weight nylon that keeps the bag light enough that my wife is able to use it without any difficulty. My previous bag was also was so large that it was hard to find space for it in restaurants and other places when we went out. I feel like this bag would be as acceptable in an office or traveling for work as it is for a diaper bag.
There are no less than a million pockets that hold a ton of stuff. I was also worried about the size (thinking it was too small), but it’s perfect. My bag includes the changing pad (that comes with and is great for using when there aren’t changing tables in the men’s room), a handful of diapers, wipes, a doggy pee pad for an additional changing table surface, two back-up outfits, a silicone bib, multiple cotton bibs (someone drools a lot), multiple spoons and pacifiers, a few toys for keeping the baby busy while out, Kleenex, a swiss army knife, my wallet, my keys and my cell phone. It even has a big pocket in the back for a tablet. My MacBook Air even fits in the big pocket!
I was skeptical of the price, but after using this bag for the past month or so, it’s worth every penny! I use it multiple times a day, so if you look at a cost-per-use, it’s pretty much pennies a day since I’m planning to use this for a while.
I am so glad we made the purchase…especially now that my wife is talking about wanting another little “family expansion pack”. Sounds like Geeky Daddy and his Storksak backpack will be doing diapers for a good long time!
Recently WWE has been using their NXT product as a quasi-minor league program to introduce, cultivate and gauge audience reaction to new talent. It is possible both women will be introduced their first before being called up to the Big Show (pun intended).
]Kacy Catanzaro amazed and charmed audiences of American Ninja Warrior in 2014 when she became the first woman to conquer a city finals course and advance to the national finals stage in Las Vegas. She has also previously worked out at the WWE Performance Center.
Shadia Bseiso will be less recognizable domestically but is very well known internationally for her work on Jordanian television. She previously trained with the WWE in Dubai this past April.
“I want to be the first WWE female Superstar from the Middle East” she told Sayan Ghosh of the Hindustan Times. She currently has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and should be a natural thanks to her previous TV work.
The popularity of Catazano and Bseiso should both help WWE ratings domestically and internationally.
While we here in the United States like to think the world revolves around us (or, in some moronic cases, that the world is flat), it turns out we do not have the monopoly on defacing polarizing historical monuments.
The Moscow Times is reporting that pranksters in Bulgaria have been going around repainting Soviet era monuments to represent capitalists American super-heroes!
The monument in Sofia’s Lozenets district, was spray painted on the eve of the Bulgarian Socialist Party’s celebration of its 123rd anniversary to depict Superman, Santa Claus, Captain America, the Joker and others.
I honestly don’t know much about Bulgarian political history, but I am curious about any cause that is powerful enough to unite these diverse characters into a common cause. Maybe Putin canceled Christmas?
Whatever the cause, the Russian Embassy in Bulgaria is demanding that it be cleaned up, the dastardly vandals be punished and more security measures be put in place.
But lets also give credit where credit is due. That is some pretty nice graffiti work. From Cap’s little shield to Wolverine’s hands, that is some pretty good attention to detail.
While the Geeky Daddy Team does not have an international correspondent on staff (yet), we will do our best to keep you updated on this and other world events!
In the mean time, here is a video of cute baby pandas playing.

There’s the obvious choices like “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor for an accomplished striker or “Stranglehold” by Ted Nugent for an accomplished ground fighting expert.
Ideally, your walk-out track should get you “jacked up” and hyped for an epic “Battle of Helmsdeep” type confrontation.
And not a Zach Morris vs A.C. Slater confrontation…
While the addition of Guile’s theme music does help this clash of 90’s titans, I would still be hugely disappointed if I purchased this Pay-Per-View.
I wanted a list of songs more suited for the Zach Morris vs. A.C. Slater PPV than a vintage Mike Tyson PPV
Here are the top 5 Worst possible walk-out songs for a fighter:
5. It’s Raining Men by The Weather Girls
Originally recorded in 1982, It’s Raining Men had already been turned down by big names of the day such as Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Cher & Barbara Streisand before The Weather Girls scored this knock out (all puns intended).
Prancing out to the Octagon to this (or better yet: the RuPaul 1997 release) pretty much assures you 1 thing: your opposition is going to think twice about whether or not he wants to take you down…
4. Glory of Love by Peter Cetera
Peter Cetera’s first solo hit after leaving Chicago (the band, not the city) was the theme song the the film Karate Kid II, as well as many weddings in the late 80’s.
In the film, our hero, Daniel, travels to Japan where he learns karate from a toy drum that he uses to defeat his enemy.
If you think that sounds stupid, that is simply because it is.
But at least the song was pretty good.
3. Physical by Olivia Newton-John
Obviously, optimizing this track as your walk-out song will require some serious teamwork and commitment from your corner.
Leg warmers will need to be worn by not only yourself, but all your corner men as well.
And at least one idiot will need to fake air guitar on a springy-Slinky-ish exercise type thing…
2. Do You Really Want To Hurt Me by Boy George
This was actually used by UFC veteran Dave Herman for one of his fights.
While I thought is was hilarious, many hardcore UFC fans didn’t find the humor in it.
And if you take your time slowly sauntering up to the ring, forcing the audience (and your opponent) to listen to this song in it’s entirety, they will really want to hurt you!
1. Gummi Bears
There 2 types of people on this planet: Those who get this memorable tune (performed by music legend John Williams’ son Joseph) stuck from their head and those that, unfortunately, are deaf.
Let’s make a checklist of characteristics of non-intimadating songs and see how this theme from the 1980’s classic cartoon Gummi Bears stacks up.
Kiddie cartoon? Check. Disney owned property? Check. Named after a fruity flavored candy? Check. Written about a magical potion that enables you to bounce away and escape from hunters: Double check!
Doesn’t get much worse than that!
What do you think? Is there a worse fighter walk-out song than Gummi Bears?
There are better things to watch than Nazis getting punched in the face…I’m assuming. I just can’t think of any at the moment.
Unfortunately it seems like you can’t turn on the TV or go online anymore without hearing about Nazis these days.
I think Indiana Jones summed up my thoughts on these guys pretty well when he said:
Thinking about these douches just annoys me but I decided to turn my frown upside down and post my…
TOP 5 TIMES A NAZI GOT PUNCHED IN THE FACE (or got their butts kicked)!
5: Wonder Woman
How can you not love Wonder Woman? She’s smart, powerful, heroic and gorgeous (just like Geeky Mommie). In her recent successful feature film (portrayed by Israeli actress Gal Gadot), we saw Wonder Woman kick WWI Germany’s pre-Nazi butt back to Deutschland.
In this Wonder Woman comic from 1978, we see her exercising some real feminist movement action by punching Nazi Siegfried The Speedster through a glass window!
4: Indiana Jones vs. Nazi Mechanic
Indiana Jones has had more run-ins with Nazis than the ACLU.
One of his most memorable is from his original movie Raiders of the Lost Ark where he showed us all that there is more to winning a fight than just a strong physique…there are also airplane propellers!
3: Raphael Knocks Out Hitler
In the Archie Comics series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, the pizza loving quartet found themselves in many crazy situations. None more so than a time traveling excursion against a robot Hitler controlled by the real Hitler’s brain that also happened to control the Time Slip Machine that also…ahh, never mind.
Let’s not try to apply logic to figure out a plot to a storyline involving mutated talking ninja turtles. Just enjoy the visual.
2. Magneto Kills Some Nazis In South America
Magneto has his flaws (such as that whole wanting to wage war on homo-sapiens thing), but he has his merits as well.
Here we see him making the long trek to South America shortly after World War II to meet up with some Fascists for a lager and politely explain to them the errors in the way of thinking….and kill them of course.
1: Captain America Decks Hitler
You know this was going to be #1.
Originally published in March of 1941 (nine months prior to the United State entrance into World War II), introducing Captain America to the world by having him deck Der Fuhrer was a risky move for Jack Kirby and Joe Simon.
Not only was there a tremendous isolationists movement in the country (spearheaded by titans of industry such as Henry Ford and William Randolph Hearst), but there was also strong a Pro Nazi movement, as evidenced by the Nazi rally held in New York City at Madison Square Garden in 1939
After entering the army, he used his artistic ability as an advance scout (drawing pictures of enemy positions and emplacements), was involved in liberating concentration camps and even tried to fight some pro-Fascist in the lobby of the Marvel Comics office!
