The first time Geeky Mommie ever felt a kick from Lil’ G, was while watching fireworks last year at our friends’ Ryan & Shari’s house. So we had a pretty good idea this kid was going to love fireworks shows!
The neighbors on our street got together last night for our usually setting off of “Freedom lights”, and Lil’ G was not disappointed!
We got Lil’ G-Man the Banz Mini Earmuffs to protect his ears from the loud bangs, and I am so thankful we did! Our neighbors weren’t messing around this year when it came to letting freedom ring!
Some of these fireworks could have taken down low altitude aircraft!
In all seriousness, I highly recommend having ear protection around the house for all parents with children under the age of 2. Not just for when neighbors set off military grade anti-aircraft fire, but also for trips to festivals with loud bands or even to help them (and you) sleep through the occasional loud thunderstorm.
Around $20 is a cheap price to pay to protect them against any type of hearing damage!
I wish we had these earmuffs when we went to “Touch A Truck” earlier this summer. Those truck horn blasts were no joke!
