The whole Geeky Family (Daddy, Mommie and Lil’ G) made our near weekly trip our local Target over the weekend to find that our store was one of the 650 Target stores that had been Mario’d!
As I wrote about recently, Target and Nintendo have a co-promotion running for the launch of Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Switch. 650 of Target locations have had a number of their carts retrofitted to resemble Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach’s Karts from the game!
The doors have also be decorated with Mario Kart decals and sound effects as you enter. Lil G-Man also enjoyed the decorated bollards (those big red balls that are supposed to stop runaway cars) that have been covered with Mario and Luigi graphics. The only other time Target has done this was for a Pokemon co-promotion a few years ago.
Grayson does love to play in Mario Kart 8.
