Adams State (out of Colorado) has been looking for a new place kicker for their Division II football program and believes that have found one in Becca Longo!
In the photo, Longo is signing her letter of intent to play football for Adams State making her the first female to play college football on a scholarship (Division II or higher).
Longo reported 30 of 33 PAT’s and 1 field goal of 30 yards in her prep career.
The entire Geeky Daddy team will be rooting for you Becca Longo and hope to someday see you connecting on field goals professionally on Sunday afternoons!
Side note: Don’t tell me I am the only one who thought of Kathy Ireland as the kicker for the Texas State Armadillos in 1991’s Necessary Roughness. Not the funniest football movie ever, but entertaining.
