I was a huge fan of the original Ducktales cartoon that ran from 1987-1990.
Who didn’t sing the theme song on the bus on the way to school every morning?
And who didn’t watch the series and dream of having a super rich uncle they could go swimming through money with.
Well Disney is trying to recreate that magic with a new Ducktales reboot that will be airing on Disney XD this summer.

It will be fun to see Uncle Scrooge travel the world again with his nephews (I guess technically “grandnephews”?) Huey, Dewey & Louie, who will be voiced this time by Danny Pudi (Community & Powerless), Ben Schwartz (Parks & Recreation) and and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live). Great to see some of the other characters like Launchpad McQuack and Mrs. Beakley return as well.

Call me a traditionalist, but I preferred the original theme song without the chorus’d “Woo-oo”.
Just to refresh your memory, here is the original.

What do you think?
Next Disney reboot I want to see: Darkwing Duck!
