Disney CEO Bob Iger has set the Star Wars universe ablaze with his statement “THE LAST JEDI will be all about the Skywalker family”
We have already seen Kylo Ren speaking to the remains of Darth Vader’s helmet in THE FORCE AWAKENS and we now have confirmation that the Skywalker lineage will play heavily in episode VIII. Which stands to reason that we will see the Hayden Christensen Anakin ghost in Episode VIII.
Remember, Hayden Christensen is the official canon Anakin since his ghost was edited over Sebastian Shaw’s at the end of the 2006 re-issue of Return of the Jedi.
By the way, am I the only one that feels really bad for Sebastian Shaw? He used to be able to sit his grand kids down and say “This is the highlight of my acting career. I was Anakin Skywalker!” Now he can’t even do that anymore.
Also, should it be worth noting that Lucasfilm left Alec Guinness as Obi Wan and not replaced him with Ewan McGregor?
