My wife and I have spoken about getting Lil’ G-Man involved in coding and networking at an early age (he is only 4 months old now, so probably not quite yet). An understanding of these marketable skills would ensure that he always has a career waiting for him.
Israel had a similar thought regarding their children.
In some schools, children as young as fourth grade have begun learning computer programing and some gifted tenth graders are getting into encryption tactics. This is all part of Israel’s effort to become the world’s leader in cyber security and cyber technology over the next couple decades.
This is all an important investment in infrastructure for a small nation with serious security concerns and a lack of the one major export that it’s neighbors have: oil.
